Jens Hawlitzky new Head Coach of HSV Stealers The German Baseball-Bundesliga club HSV Stealers has signed Jens Hawlitzky as new head coach for the upcoming season. He succeeds Shawn Pynn, who led the team into the playoffs for the first time since 2001. The 29-year-old Hawlitzky is coming from the Dortmund Wanderers, where he reached the postseason two straight years since being promoted into the Baseball-Bundesliga in 2008. The new coach will be introduced to the team during a minicamp next weekend at the facilities of the Untouchables in Paderborn. The Stealers celebrate their 25th anniversary this year.
