Jairo Ramos delivers Grosseto a win with Homerun in 15th

Jesus Matos dominated over seven innings and the FORTITUDO offense began to click at the end of the game. Matos struck out ten and allowed just one run on four hits and a walk. BOLOGNA led already 2-1, when they scored six runs in the seventh and eighth frame.
Juan Angrisano drove in two. Lino Connell scored twice. All nine starters reached base.
George Delgado was charged with one hit, two runs and eight base on balls in just four innings.

Claudio Signorini drove in the winning run for RIMINI with a single in the top of the seventh. Giuseppe Spinelli added an insurance run with a RBI double in the ninth.
TELEMARKET had taken a 2-0 lead after two periods with a RBI single by Mario Chiarini and when Flippo Crociati scored on an error. However SAN MARINO came back and tied the contest on RBI singles by James Buccheri and Martin Vazquez.
Buddy Bengel started for RIMINI. He allowed four hits, two runs and three walks in 4 2/3 innings. Chris Di Roma replaced him and received the win. Mattew Marrone began for SAN MARINO. He gave up four hits, two runs (1 ER) and three walks in six innings. Tiago Da Silva took the loss.

GROSSETO and GODO were locked in a marathon extra inning thriller. MONTEPASCHI earned the victory, by scoring two runs in the top of the 15th frame on Jairo Ramos’ two-run homerun.
DE ANGELIS started strong and brought three runs on the board in the first on a two-run double by Mike Lockwood and a RBI single by Danilo Sanchez. It was the last time they would bring runners over the plate. GROSSETO came back and rallied to tie the game in the seventh and eighth inning. Raul Marval got the big hit with a two-run double.
Lincoln Mikkelsen allowed five hits, three runs and two walks in seven innings. He was opposed by Ryan Baerlocher, who was charged with eight hits, two runs and a bb in 7 1/3 innings. However the stars on the mound were the relievers. Chris Cooper got the win after pitching seven two-hit two-walk frames, while striking out ten. Kyle Collina also struck out ten in 7 2/3 innings. He took the loss, after giving up the decisive homerun in the sixth extra inning.

The NETTUNO offense got jump started by a grand slam of the hands of Vincent Parisi (3-3, 5 RBI) in the first period and they never looked back. They added a trio of insurance runs at the end to win 7-1 against PARMA. Juan Camilo scored three runs.
Nelson Cruz celebrated after the early run support and allowed five hits and a walk in six scoreless innings to start the match. Josmir Romero was responsible for five hits, five runs and three walks in six innings.
