The Namur Angels have signed the 17-year-old American outfielder/pitcher Jacob Huffman. He is coming from Belgian First Division opponent Mortsel Stars. He will attend a high school in the United States at the beginning of the year, but will be available to the Angels later in the spring next year. In 2010 he was 3-for-16 with four walks, a triple, seven runs scored and two RBI at the plate. On the mound he had an ERA of 8.15 with five strikeouts and 14 walks in 17 2/3 innings. His father Craig Huffman is also transferring from Mortsel to Namur and is joining the coaching staff of the Baseball Academy.
