Italy opens Training Camp in Mesa, Arizona

From Saturday, February 25 the Italian National Team will open training camp for the 2017 World Baseball Classic in Mesa, Arizona. 24 players will be on hand for manager Marco Mazzieri with the big leaguers joining next week. Mazzieri will be assisted in Mesa by Salvatore Butera, Frank Catalanotto, Salvatore Fasano, Gilberto Gerali, Nick Punto, Brian Sweeney, Auguste Medina and Dennis Cook.

Players in training camp will be Tiago Da Silva, Mike DeMark, Nick Fanti, Frailyn Florian, Sam Gaviglio, Alessandro Maestri, Anthony Morris, Junior Oberto, Jordan Romano, Carlos Teran, Alex Liddi, Alessandro Vaglio, Mario Chiarini, Sebastiano Poma, Marco Sabbatani, Filippo Crepaldi, Frank DeJiulio, Nick Morreale, Erik Epifano, Mattia Mercuri, Leonardo Seminati, Paolino Ambrosino, Stefano Desimoni and Giulio Monello.
