After publishing the Italian Baseball League schedule earlier this week, the Federation also announced the plans for the Softball Serie A1. Amga Legnano is the defending champion, sweeping Sanotint Bollate in the Italian Series. The first game day is set for April 5th.
They have changed the format slightly, as a homegrown pitcher has to appear in game one of the usual doubleheaders. They are also welcome a new team in the league. Europromo Titano Hornets from San Marino will make their Serie A1 debut against Bollate.
