They defeated CASSA PADANA last Saturday 8-2 and 3-0 and lead now the standings with a 18-6 record, five games ahead of fifth-ranked DES CASERTA. The latter missed the opportunity to close the deficit to EUROPROMO in fourth, as both settled for a split.
SANOTINT BOLLATE received two great pitching performances by Debora Moretto and Kelly Hardie, who combined for twelve scoreless innings against NUORO, allowing just three hits and a walk, while striking out 19. FIORINI FORLI stays in second after two victories against MOSCA MACERATA. Besides a makeup game against MUSEO D’ARTE, they have two doubleheaders against BOLLATE and the HORNETS left.
