Claudio Liverziani and Richard Austin scored three runs apiece. Each player out of the starting lineup for FORTITUDO scored at least once. Dean Rovinelli hit a solo homerun for SAN MARINO. Jesus Matos (W 1-0) went six innings for the win, allowing three runs on six hits. He struck out three. Victor Moreno had some trouble, but pitched the remaining three innings for the save. Horacio Estrada (L 0-2) conceded  seven hits, seven runs (6 ER) and three bb in three-plus innings. Luis Ramirez and Matteo Tonellato couldn’t silence the opposing offense either.
