Italian Baseball League: Nettuno, Rimini, Padua win on Friday

Three games were played in the Italian Baseball League on Friday. ASD Rimini won 5-2 over T&A San Marino to also win game two of the series. However it was much more thrilling then the game on Thursday, as Rimini needed to score three runs in the 11th to seal the win. Jairo Ramos was 3-for-4 with two RBI. Ennio Retrosi and Jose Flores scored twice for the Pirates. Sebastiano Poma scored both runs for the Titans.

Meanwhile Tommasin Padua scored four runs in the fifth and five in the seventh en route to a 12-1 blowout over Parma Baseball. Luis Alvarez and Giuseppe Sciacca combined for eight hits, four runs and four RBI. Raul Ruiz pitched seven innings for the win.

At Steno Borghese stadium the games between Nettuno and Novara will be played without fans in the stands due to ongoing construction. In game one on Friday Nettuno won 7-1. Three runs in the second and three in the sixth gave them the edge. Giuseppe Mazzanti and Renato Imperiali had three hits apiece.
