The congress of the International Softball Federation (ISF), which will be held every other year, takes place in Margarita Island, Venezuela from Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25. According to a report on the official website of the ISF, 63 different countries are expected to send delegates to the 24th edition of the congress.
Executives including president Don Porter, secretary general Andy Loechner and vice presidents Dale McCann, Dr. Fernando Aren and Jesus Suniaga all arrived on Tuesday at the congress site Hesperia Isla Margarita Hotel in Venezuela. Main topics, which are known, are officer elections, possible playing rule changes, nominees for the ISF Hall of Fame and the awarding of host cities for the Men’s World Championships (Senior and Under-19) in 2013.
