Last weekend at the Night of the Diamonds in Riccione, a commission of the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation added eight new members into the Italian Hall of Fame. Two players made the jump, Giuseppe Carelli, who won six national titles with Rimini between 1977 and 1994, and Fausto Camusi, a third baseman who won six titles with Lazio Rome from 1951 to 1957. In addition Giampiero Faraone, the new manager of DANESI NETTUNO in 2009, moves in for his achievements as coach. The founder of the Baseball Club in Livorno Alfredo Sisi, the former Softball player Donatella Cena, umpire James Lassandro, writer Stefano Germano and Roberta Fruhwirth also receive the call.
