The German Baseball-Bundesliga club HSV Stealers has added right-handed pitcher Max Warren to the 2011 roster. The 25-year-old from Silver Springs, Maryland who has a Greek passport is also going to play in the outfield. From 2005 to 2008 he attended Harvard University and also pitched for the Ivy League school. Afterwards he went to the Netherlands to play there. Last summer he pitched for the Greek National Team at the European Championship in Germany. He went 9-for-18 in four final round games, where he also gave up nine runs on eleven hits and two walks in 5 2/3 innings through two appearances on the mound. Warren is the third new player for the Stealers after Rene Herlitzius and Jakub Vojak.
