The Hoofdklasse restarts their season for four game days before the national team leaves for the Olympic Games in Beijing. Each four games are scheduled for today, Saturday, Sunday and next Thursday. The situation in the Dutch Major League, which was off for a few weeks due to the Haarlem Baseball Week is the following.
CORENDON KINHEIM is leading the standings with a 22-7 record and faces third-ranked L&D AMSTERDAM PIRATES (20-9) tonight. In second is DOOR NEPTUNUS, one game behind first place. They are the favorites against the MR COCKER HCAW. In addition the KONICA MINOLTA PIONIERS are host to ADO and the MEDIA MONKS RCH are playing against SPARTA/FEYENOORD. The teams from Hoofdorp and Rotterdam, which have identical 17-12 records at the moment, will clash this weekend in a battle for fourth place.
