HCAW prevailed 1-0 over DSS in eight innings. Sander Helmendach and Steven van Groningen issued just four hits and a walk in the game. Timo van Lingen took the loss in relief of Rick Geestmann. Max Clarijs drove in the game winner with a RBI single in the fifth.
Corendon Kinheim dominated Vaessen Pioniers 10-0 in seven innings. Mervin Gario went 3-for-4 with two runs and three RBI to pace the Kinheim offense. Seven different players crossed the plate for runs. Glenn Wassink earned an easy win thanks to the massive run support. Ricardo Hernandez conceded nine hits, six runs and seven walks in 4 2/3 frames.
The fourth matchup between UVV and Mampaey The Hawks ended with a 9-9 tie after eight innings due to the curfew rule in the Netherlands. UVV just had tied the game in the bottom of the last frame. Both teams had combined for ten runs in the fifth to run up the score. Gilmer Lampe had three RBI for Utrecht. Odion Gouverneur scored three times for the Hawks. Stephen Henson drove in three.
