Highlights from Bryce Harper and Christian Walker at Power Showcase

The fine guys from Power Showcase are currently uploading the clips from the 70 power prospects to YouTube, which participated in the High School Home Run Derby at the beginning of January. The highlight reels of the four Europeans Matej Sucha, Robin Drache, Paolino Ambrosino and Mike Bazuin will follow in the next couple of weeks. Today we’ll show the videos of the two players, who dominated the event.

Third baseman Christian Walker from the Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic High School in Norristown, Pennsylvania won the HR derby with nine homeruns in the championship round. Overall he drove 19 balls over the fence. Player Page at Power Showcase

Catcher Bryce Harper from the Las Vegas High School in Nevada exited the attendance at the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida with eleven homeruns in the preliminary round, including a record-setting 502 feet bomb. Player Page at Power Showcase
