Venezuela not coming to Haarlemse Honkbalweek after all

Since a few days we heard several news messages that the trip by the Venezuelan team to Haarlem was delayed. On Saturday evening the organizers of the Haarlemse Honkbalweek had to announce that the South American isn’t coming after all. Apparently Venezuela was still in Caracas on Saturday and was facing some visa problems. Additionally they are going to play in a tournament in Puerto Rico after Haarlem, which probably led to the problems. The organizers were very disappointed that Venezuela is not coming and they rearranged the schedule. HHW President Frits Mulder also will make a statement during a radio show on Sunday morning.

Schedule Day 3:
July 11:

  • 11:30 USA – Cuba
  • 16:00 Japan – Netherlands
