The story already is two years old, but it still worth telling. On April 26, 2008, Western Oregon’s Sara Tucholsky hit a three-run homerun to give her team the lead over Central Washington. However when she rounded first base, she tore her ACL and had to stop. Since the rules don’t allow teammates to help her, the opposing players Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace stepped in and carried Tucholsky around the diamond.
