Germany’s head coach Mathias Winterrath announced a provisional roster of 25 players for the upcoming Junior European Championship in Gijon, Spain. A last training camp will take place in Mainz from June 27 to July 1. After bringing down the roster to 20 players the delegation will fly from Frankfurt/Main to Oviedo one day later and from there will make the trip to Gijon. Germany is opening the tournament on July 4 against Belgium. Italy, Russia and the Ukraine are also slotted into Pool A.
