The playdowns in the German Baseball-Bundesliga ended last weekend, as the Gauting Indians and the Haar Disciples settled for a split in the south and the Pulheim Gophers swept their doubleheader against the Cologne Cardinals in the north. All four results were meaningless, as the standings were set before the start of the weekend. Gauting and Pulheim now await their opponents for the relegation series, which will take place later this year.
