French National Teamer Frederic Hanvi has scored another tryout to pursue his professional baseball career. The former Minor Leaguer with the Minnesota Twins organization who played in Japan last year, got invited to try out for the independent CanAm Professional League. The tryouts for the Aigles de Trois-Rivières will be on May 9 and 10. The new season commences on May 26.
Hanvi would step into the footsteps of Felix Brown, who played for Aigles last year. Rene Leveret, Anthony Cros and Maxime Lefevre are other French players to have played in the CanAm League in the past five years.
