Fortitudo lands Alfredo Lopez Delgado
Fortitudo Bologna misses Matteo D’ANGELO until June, as he is pitching for the Winthrop University. They will replace him with Alfredo LOPEZ DELGADO. The Cuban with an Italian passport pitched since 2006 for Marina Ravenna in the Serie A2 (division two in Italy).
The 36-year-old had an 8-4 record and an ERA of 2.59 in 16 games in 2007. He struck out 124 in 111.1 innings pitched, walking 63. Just 16 of his 71 hits allowed were for extra bases.
