After a two-week break the semi-final series in the German Softball-Bundesliga continued last weekend and the northern teams avoided a complete elimination. After having lost seven of the eight games on weekend number one, the BRAUWEILER RAGING ABBOTS and the NEUNKIRCHEN NIGHTMARES saved honors for the northern division with series wins against the FREISING GRIZZLIES and the HERRENBERG WANDERERS. NEUNKIRCHEN even came back from a 0-2 deficit. The MANNHEIM TORNADOS and the HAAR DISCIPLES completed three-game sweeps to reach the final four in Ratingen. The DISCIPLES kicked out defending champion HAMBURG KNIGHTS.
