FC Barcelona – CB Sant Boi 2-1, 2-5
Homer Baez (W 4-1) struck out ten in a complete game shutout in match one to lead BARCELONA to a 2-1 victory. Jesus Golindano scored the game winning run in the sixth on a throwing error by the first baseman. In part two, SANT BOI scored four runs in the second and third to take a commanding 4-1 lead and won 5-2 in the end. A. Figueroa had two RBI. J.E. Cruz scored twice. He also received his third win of the season on the mound.
CD Pamplona – El Llano 1-3, 5-11
EL LLANO closed the gap to the top three teams in the standings a bit with a sweep in Pamplona. Fidel Mane struck out eleven in seven innings in the 3-1 victory in game one. They used two four-run innings in the second 11-5 win. G Martinez had three hits, including two doubles.
CB Viladecans – San Inazio Bilbao 2-1, 1-3
VILADECANS and SAN INAZIO settled for a split in their duel. J.A. Machado provided a RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to deliver CB a 2-1 victory in game one. Yulman Ribeiro struck out ten in a complete game victory. Pedro Belmonte had a complete game victory for himself and led SAN INAZIO to a 3-1 victory in the second part of the Sunday doubleheader.
Astros Valencia – Baseball Navarra 0-6, 0-17
The ASTROS stay winless, after losing twice to NAVARRA. They celebrated two lopsided shutouts. L. Villanueva hit two homeruns and drove in three runs in the first game. German Arroyo and Juan Jose Lopez combined for a two-hitter. Hector Perozo (3 Runs, 7 RBI) and L. Villanueva (5 RBI) each hit a homerun in the second match.
