All current major or minor league players developed in European baseball are listed here. The minor league regular seasons are now finished. Many of these players (those not on their MLB team’s 40-man roster) will now report back to their national teams for the European Championships.
MLB-
Didi Gregorius, Arizona Diamondbacks. Netherlands.
Current team: Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB)
Gregorius has two home runs in the last two weeks, while continuing to split playing time at shortstop. He’s hitting .209 with 6 homers and 3 stolen bases in 201 at bats.
Donald Lutz, Cincinnati Reds. Germany.
Current team: Cincinnati Reds (MLB)
Lutz was recalled by the big league team September 1st, as the Louisville season is finished and MLB rosters are now allowed to expand. In 75 minor league games (split between AA and AAA), Lutz hit .275 with 12 home runs. He’ll likely get some time in the outfield and at first base over the next month with the Reds.
Triple A-
Roger Bernadina, Los Angeles Dodgers. Netherlands.
Current team: Albuquerque Isotopes (AAA)
Bernadina hit .246 in Albuquerque with a .380 OBP, after 44 games in the big leagues earlier this season with Cincinnati.
Kai Gronauer, New York Mets. Germany.
Current Team: Las Vegas 51s(AAA)
Gronauer had two games in August, making one plate appearance in which he walked and scored a run. In 58 at bats this season, he’s hitting .172 with 2 home runs.
Double A –
Alex Liddi, Los Angeles Dodgers. Italy.
Current team: Chattanooga Lookouts (AA)
Liddi finished his season in Double-A hitting .216 with 2 home runs in 36 games. For the year across 3 teams/2 organizations, he hit .207 with 11 home runs in 102 games.
High A –
Lars Huijer, Seattle Mariners. Netherlands.
Current team: High Desert Mavericks (High-A)
Huijer finished the season in High Desert with a 2-4 record and 6.54 ERA in 12 starts. For the year, he was 6-9, 5.08 ERA, 76 strikeouts, 61 walks in 124 innings.
Max Kepler, Minnesota Twins. Germany.
Current team: Fort Myers Miracle (High-A)
Kepler went 3-for-5 in his last game to finish with a .264 average in 102 games. He struck out 62 times, walked 34, and had 31 extra base hits.
Single-A –
Dovydas Neverauskas, Pittsburgh Pirates. Lithuania.
Current team: West Virginia Power (A)
Neverauskas finished his first year in full-season ball with a 6-12 record and 5.60 ERA in 27 appearances (26 starts). He walked 55 and struck out 88 in 123.2 innings.
Nick Urbanus, Texas Rangers. Netherlands.
Current team: Hickory Crawdads (A)
Including 5 games in rookie ball on injury rehab, Urbanus hit .222 across 53 games, with 10 extra base hits, 10 walks, and 47 strikeouts.
Short season A –
Federico Castagnini, Baltimore Orioles. Italy.
Current team: Aberdeen Ironbirds (Short-A)
In 84 games across two levels, Castagnini hit .213 with 27 walks and and 53 strikeouts.
Martin Cervenka, Cleveland Indians. Czech Republic.
Current team: Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Short-A)
In 25 games and 83 at bats, Cervenka hit .181 with 3 doubles and a stolen base.
Rookie –
Davide Anselmi, Cincinnati Reds. Italy.
Current team: AZL Reds (rookie)
Anselmi threw 16.2 innings across 12 games, with an ERA of 3.78, 6 walks and 18 strikeouts.
Daniel Arribas, Pittsburgh Pirates. Netherlands.
Current team: Bristol Pirates (rookie)
Arribas finished the year hitting .281/.368/.400. He played 44 games with 160 at bats, knocking 4 home runs and stealing 3 of 4 bags.
Federico Celli, Los Angeles Dodgers. Italy.
Current team: AZL Dodgers (rookie)
Celli got 35 at bats with the rookie league team, walking 5 times, striking out 8, stealing 3 bases and hitting .343.
Maik Ehmcke, Arizona Diamondbacks. Germany.

Ehmcke hit .232 in 44 games with 14 walks and 29 strikeouts.
Rachid Engelhardt, Baltimore Orioles. Netherlands.

Minarik finished the year at 1-6 with a 5.06 ERA. He threw 53.1 innings across two levels, striking out 31 and walking 28.
Alberto Mineo, Chicago Cubs. Italy.

In 137 at bats, Mineo hit .241/.367/.336 with 10 extra base hits. He walked 29 times and struck out 36.
