According to a report on FIBS.it, the International Softball Federation (ISF) has selected four European Umpires for the Women’s Softball World Championship in Caracas, Venezuela. Andrea Marcon (Italy), Tomislav Ozimec (Croatia), Pavel Kaspercik (Czech Republic) and Peter Vonk (Netherlands) are part of the 20 names nominated by Bob Stanton for the tournament from June 23 to July 2. He hopes to add two more Umpires. Europe will be represented by the Netherlands, Great Britain and the Czech Republic in the 16-team field.
