This weekend the annual international kid’s tournament METROBALL takes place at the Roberto Clemente Field in Mannheim, Germany. Eight teams from Germany, the Netherlands and France will battle for the trophy at the ballpark of the Baseball-Bundesliga club Mannheim Tornados. After group-play the two top teams will play in the finals. Games start at 9am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday. The medal ceremony is planned for Sunday at 3.30pm. The Tornados won the tournament in 2009, the Amsterdam Pirates in 2008.
