The Rouen Huskies and Technika Brno are going to host the European Cup Playoff Tournaments from September 17 to 19 according to a press release by the Solingen Alligators. Three teams will play at each event with the winner receiving a spot for their league in next year’s European Cup. The format is the same as in the past two seasons, as they are playing doubleheaders against each other with the best team winning the Playoff. Four of the six qualified teams are the winners of the European Cup Qualifiers. Additionally the two French teams Huskies and Savigny Lions have to avoid relegation after being ranked sixth in the European Cups.
European Cup Playoff in Brno:
- Technika Brno (CZE, host) – Winner European Cup Qualifier in Antwerp
- Savigny Lions (FRA) – Sixth at European Cup in Rotterdam
- North Stars (RUS) – Winner European Cup Qualifier in Brest
European Cup Playoff in Rouen:
- Rouen Huskies (FRA, host) – Sixth at European Cup in Brno
- Solingen Alligators (GER) – Winner European Cup Qualifier in Solingen
- Olimpija Karlovac (CRO) – Winner European Cup Qualifier in Karlovac
