ESPN with Story on Switch Pitcher Pat Venditte

The New York Yankees selected Pat Venditte in the Amateur Draft in 2008. The 24-year-old is a switch pitcher, who already advanced to the Florida State League, though he might be too old to be considered a real prospect. But the reliever is holding his ground so far. In 73 games he has a combined career ERA of 1.29 with 119 strikeouts (18 walks) in 90 2/3 innings.
