In the first match on Saturday PUERTO CRUZ used five SANT BOI errors for a 5-2 victory.

EL LLANO won both games against NAVARRA this weekend and solidified first place with a 7-1 record. Elvis Polanco was the hero in game one, held the no-hitter until the eighth. Fidel Mane finished the job and they both combined for a two-hit shutout.
The guests started stronger in the second game of the series. NAVARRA scored two runs in the top of the first, but failed to bring more on the board afterwards. EL LLANO answered right away and rallied for four runs in the bottom of the frame and widened the gap in the second with two more. They added a few more insurance runs until the end and won easily 10-2. Miguel Rizo started and received his fourth win in his fourth start of the season. Roberto Noriega impressed with his bat, but had to leave the game due to an injury.
EL LLANO travels next weekend to Barcelona to face CB SANT BOI in another showdown.

BARCELONA jumped into second place with a sweep against the heavy underdogs from Valencia. The first part of the doubleheader was decided early, when BARCA led by eight runs after five frames. Miguel Mora and Albert Diaz each had three hits, two runs and two RBI. Jorge Miqueleiz and Felix Isasi got two hits apiece.
The second match was much more difficult for BARCELONA. Again they took a fast lead, but only by a run, after not converting several scoring opportunities. The ASTROS find a way to plate two runs in the fourth and hold on to the advantage until the seventh. BARCELONA finally came through in the bottom of that frame and scored twice to regain the lead. William Jose Domero drove in the go-ahead run Juan Manuel Salazar with a RBI-single. Emmanuel Febles doubled twice. Remigio Leal continued his quest for the innings-pitched leadership and threw a complete game. He gave up two runs on two hits and struck out nine.
