A total of 105 runs were played in the four-plus games in the qualifiers for the European Championship Cadets in Antwerp, Belgium and Sofia, Bulgaria. The day in Antwerp began with the continuation of the matchup between Belgium and Switzerland. The Swiss were able to cut off the deficit a bit, but the five runs on Wednesday were not enough to erase the 8-18 deficit from Tuesday. Later the day Switzerland beat Great Britain 12-10 for their first win in the tournament. Poland picked up the second victory, out-scoring Lithuania 20-10. They are now tied with Belgium for the lead in Antwerp. Both have 2-0 records. In Sofia only the host Bulgaria is undefeated after two days of competition. They crushed Romania 20-8. In the other match Turkey beat Serbia 15-5 in five innings.
