em-logo-2016Spain shut out Croatia 6-0 on Sunday morning to remain undefeated in the European Championship in Hoofddorp. It was their third win in as many games. Croatia dropped to 0-3. A run in the second gave Spain the lead, five more in the fourth and fifth blew the score open.

Lowuin Sacramento issued just four hits and a walk in seven scoreless innings to lead the way. He struck out ten and earned the win. Jose Cruz and Eduardo Miliani closed out the shutout. Spain has only allowed two runs in 23 innings in the tournament.

At the plate Lesther Galvan had a RBI single in the second to put Spain in front. Two frames later Luis Guillorme hit a two-run double and scored shortly after on a single by Oscar Angulo. In the fifth Galvan had a two-run single to extend the advantage to six runs.

Kruno Gojkovic had two hits for Croatia. Marin Tadic took the loss, conceding eight hits, six runs and five base on balls in eight innings.
