German outfielder Donald Lutz has found a new home. The 28-year-old has signed with the American Association based Independent League Kansas City T-Bones. Lutz didn’t receive a new contract after eight years with the Cincinnati Reds this past offseason and then joined Bravos de Leon in the Mexican League. However he was released after just two weeks and was looking for a new employer since. He will be the second German player with the T-Bones after Martin Dewald, who pitched for them in 2011.
