TV West from The Hague aired this documentary about former Major Leaguer Win Remmerswaal to their viewers in the Netherlands. It is mostly in Dutch, but you still get an impression about his career when you’re not speaking that language. Born in The Hague in 1954, Remmerswaal was signed by the Boston Red Sox organization as an amateur free agent in 1974 and pitched parts of two seasons (1979 and 1980) in the MLB for the team from New England, posting an ERA of 5.50 in 22 appearances. He was the first player born and raised in the Netherlands to make it into the big leagues.
