Disciples try to get in hunt for playoff spot
On Sunday the DISCIPLES travel to Mannheim to face the TORNADOS. With Esequier Pie they strengthened their already strong pitching staff further and could send him on the mound against Eddie Aucoin in game two of the doubleheader. One or two victories against the third-ranked club and HAAR is going to be in a strong position to challenge MAINZ and MANNHEIM for a playoff spot. However they need to get the offense going, as they have just 65 runs scored this season. Only the ATOMICS score fewer runs.
