Corendon Kinheim outfielder Dirk van ‘t Klooster will receive the newly installed Honorary Membership of the Netherlands federation KNBSB for players having participated in at least 200 official international games of the Netherlands national team.
This decision was taken by KNBSB board and approved by its parliament in session last Saturday morning in the House of Sports in Nieuwegein.
For baseball and softball players having participated in at least 100 international games of the national teams, the awarding of the KNBSB Meritorious Membership will be planned at a convenient occasion, according to a letter by KNBSB office director Hans Meijer of April 25.
Baseball players already nominated are Sharnol Adriana, Eric de Bruin, Jeffrey Cranston, Evert-Jan ‘t Hoen, Percey Isenia, Sidney de Jong, Marcel Kruyt, Raily Legito, Paul Smit and Charles Urbanus.
For having played at least 50 international games same applies to pitchers Patrick Beljaards, Rob Cordemans, Dave Draijer, Eelco Jansen and Michiel van Kampen.
Also softball players will receive their recognition: Renee van den Berg, Sandra Gouverneur, Judith van Kampen, Daisy de Peinder, Marlies van der Putten, Carolien Smit, Rebecca Soumeru and Nicole Wessels.
