AVG DRACI BRNO won game two of the best-of-five championship series against ARROWS OSTRAVA on Saturday and is just one victory away from capturing the title in the Czech Extraleague for the 15th straight time. In cold weather DRACI built up a fast 7-2 lead through five innings en route to a 7-4 win. The Australian Wayne Ough led the day by going five-for-six with two doubles.
Martin Schneider (W 1-0) picked up the win after five solid innings. Radek Prochazka and Greg McCarthy followed him on the mound for BRNO. OSTRAVA’s starter Jon Jon Robles (L 0-1) was hit on the knee by a comebacker of Jakub Hajtmar in the opening frame, but the Philippine stayed in the game, pitching five innings and taking the loss. Jiri Gal replaced him in the sixth.
