Before the Italian Series between DANESI NETTUNO and T&A SAN MARINO starts on Friday, the Coppa Italia resumes on Thursday with the first games in the semi-final round. TELEMARKET RIMINI and CARIPARMA advanced from the first round of the Coppa and now will be joined by MONTEPASCHI GROSSETO and UNIPOL BANCA BOLOGNA, which were eliminated in the semi-final round of the Italian Baseball League.
PARMA is going to face GROSSETO in semi-final one. RIMINI squares off with BOLOGNA. The winners of the two best-of-three series meet in the final of this second round of the Coppa Italia to determine the first finalist of the event. This team is scheduled to play for the title and a spot in next year’s European Cup against the loser of the Italian Series.
