CEB announces Hosts for European Cup Qualifiers

Posted on November 26, 2012 by philipp

Besides announcing the European Cups 2013, the Technical Commission of the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) also announced the hosts for three of the four European Cup Qualifiers. Senart (France), Borgerhout/Antwerp (Belgium) and Glyfadas (Greece) will organize a qualifying tournament. The fourth will be most likely Brest (Belarus). However the recognition by the National Olympic Committee of the new Belarus Baseball Federation is still outstanding and therefore an official announcement cannot be made. The European Cup Qualifiers will be played from June 17 to June 22. The winners will get a chance to secure a spot in the European Cup A-Pool for the 2014 season in a playoff tournament in September. The four groups will be established in January.
