Recaps: Therwil Flyers sweep Sissach Frogs in Switzerland
Therwil Flyers – Sissach Frogs 21-11, 4-2

Game one of the Saturday double header between the Sissach Frogs and the Therwil Flyers was a high scoring affair. Both teams scored two times in the first inning, but it was the Flyers who kept their offensive momentum going and scored seven more in the second inning, courtesy of seven hits and two errors. Leading the Flyers offensive burst was catcher Emanuel Raouzeos who had two hits, a stolen base, and run scored in the inning. The Flyers continued their offensive outburst by scoring three in the fourth, three in the fifth, one in the sixth, and finally five in the seventh to eventually mercy rule the Frogs. Leading the Flyers offensively was Adrian Kaufmann who was 4-5 with one RBI and two runs scored and Emanuel Raouzeos who was 3-4. Final score was 21-11 in favor of the Flyers.
Game two was a much closer affair. The Frogs got another great pitching performance out of Gary Kahn who threw 5 innings giving up only three runs. Fortunately for the Flyers, that was all they needed as the Flyers pitchers combined for 7 innings of 2 run baseball. Lukas Croton led the Flyers pitchers with four innings of one run baseball. Offensively for the Flyers it was a tough game. The Flyers were only able to score one run, until the fourth inning when Ianis Boutaloup laid down a perfect 2 out drag bunt to get on base and then came around to score on an Adrian Kaufmann double. Following the double, Kaufmann came around to score on a Hide Oshima RBI single. The Flyers scored one more insurance run in the sixth inning to seal the victory. Hitting standouts for the game were Hide Oshima who was 3-4 and Adrian Kaufmann who was 1-2. Final score was 4-2 in favor of the Flyers.
