New coaches in Dutch Softball League
Three teams in the Dutch Softball league changed their coaches during the off-season.
2007 champion A4 Terrasvogels signed Glen ROFF as successor of Darwin TOLZIN, who coached them the last two years. The 37-year-old ROFF is from New Zealand. In the pastime he worked as a head coach of the British National Softball Men Team, as an assistant coach with the Danish National Softball Men Team, as a coaching coordinator in Storks and as a head coach in Horsholm (Denmark) and Forli (Italy). He is also serving as a regional co-coordinator for Softball New Zealand since 2003.
Ton VAN KOEVERDEN is going to be the new coach of the Centrals. He led the Van der Peijl DSC ‘74 to a fourth place finish in 2007. It was his second year as a head coach. He also was a member of the coaching staff of the Dutch National Softball Men B-Team in the past.
Peter VAN AART will replace VAN KOEVERDEN at DSC’74. He had coached there already in recent years. Frank VAN DER SANDEN, Jose NONNEKENS and Margot MELS will complete his coaching staff.
