Mike Romano new Manager of Novara United
The 59-year-old Mike Romano has found a new home. After a not so pleasant departure after 39 years with Rimini he is going to be the new manager of Novara United in the Italian Baseball League. Born in Gloucestershire, Great Britain he joined the Pirates in 1973, batted .291 in 1,047 games and featured an ERA of 2.28 in 173 games. Since 1998 he worked as a coach. Novara is opening training camp on February 1 and is kicking off the new season on March 29 against T&A San Marino.
