Metrostars conclude Regular Season with Victory against Wanderers

The regular season in the Austrian Baseball League is over. The playoffs can come. The 2007 champion Vienna Metrostars defeated the Superfund Wanderers on Tuesday 4-2 and finishes in fifth place of the standings, missing the postseason with a 13-15 record. Despite the loss, the Wanderers stayed in second, having home field advantage in the semi-finals versus the Union Kufstein Vikings. The second matchup is going to be between the Mosquito Athletics and the Schwaz Tigers.
