Catching Up: Demony captures Baseball Championship in Poland

During the next two weeks we are going to look at a few Baseball and Softball Leagues in Europe, we were not covering during the 2009 season.

Demony Miejska Górka won the Polish Baseball Championship in 2009. They swept the best-of-five final series 3-0 against Gepardy Zory. Demony had beaten Silesia Rybnik in the semi-finals, while Gepardy prevailed against MKS Kutno, winner of the last four titles. Including the regular season, Demony won the last 15 games in a row.
