Cariparma interested in Adolfo Gomez and Juan Camilo The Italian Grandeslam blog brings us new rumors about the IBL club Cariparma. They seem to be interested in signing Adolfo Gomez and Juan Camilo. Gomez already played for Parma in 2007 and 2008 after having started his Italian career with Modena in 2005. In 192 Italian Baseball League games the infielder has a batting average of .338 (OBP .423/SLG .412) with 169 runs and 74 RBI. Camilo was employed by Danesi Nettuno since 2007. He is batting .333 (OBP .425/SLG .541) with 25 homeruns, 120 runs and 101 RBI in 154 games. The club is expected to announce any signings by the end of January.
