Canada continues dominance in Perth
The Canadian team is on their way to a sweep against the Perth Heat. They beat them 8-2 on Friday and have won all three games. The exhibition series will be completed on Saturday.
The duel was much more entertaining than the lopsided score tells. Perth took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third through a RBI-single by Lachlan DALE. The home crowd was happy, although not for long. Taylor GREEN tied the game in the top of the fourth with a RBI-single. Emerson FROSTAD followed with a three-run-homerun for a 5-2-advantage. It was the neck breaker for the Heat. Canada added three runs more at the end, two through a RBI-double by Matt ROGELSTAD.
Jamie RICHMOND allowed seven hits, two runs and one walk in five innings. He struck out four. Mike KUSIEWICZ, Robert SWINDLE and Mike JOHNSON got also their work in.
