South Korea used a six-run rally in the fifth en route to a 7-2 win over Nicaragua. Yong-Kyu Choi had the big hit with a three-run double. Young-Hun Cho hit a solo homerun. Won-Sang Yoo (KOR) gave up five hits, two runs and a walk in 3 1/3 innings. Ji-Woong Yoon picked up the win with five strong innings of scoreless relief. Armando Hernandez took the loss, issuing four hits, seven runs (1 ER) and four bb in 4 2/3 innings.
