The Netherlands had no trouble in the first game of the second round at the 2011 IBAF Baseball World Cup. They defeated South Korea 5-1 on homeruns by Kalian Sams and Sharlon Schoop. The Olympic champion didn’t get on the board until the ninth inning, when Chang Min Mo hit a solo homerun off reliever Orlando Yntema. Tom Stuifbergen had pitched eight scoreless innings for the win.
