Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg
The Buchbinder Legionaere announced its replacement for Chris Paterson on Wednesday. Jerome Burton Jr. will be their new foreign pitcher in game two each week. He already arrived in Regensburg, worked out with his new teammates and will be available for the upcoming two-game set against the Haar Disciples. The 26-year-old from Chicago is supposed to throw 90 MPH and is coming from the amateur team Chicago Zephyrs after recommendations by Chicago White Sox instructor Marco Farjado. Paterson had to leave the Buchbinder Legionaere ten days ago due to personal obligations. He could be back in August.
Dortmund Wanderers
The northern division club Dortmund Wanderers is bringing in Luther Kangas to reinforce the roster. After attending Bemiji State University, Concordia College and playing for the independent league club Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks he worked as a baseball instructor the past three years at Acceleration South in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Dortmund hopes that the utility man will not only help as a player, but also as a coach.
