British Briefing: Bracknell have chance to become outright leaders

British Briefing: Bracknell have chance to become outright leadersWords and images by Joe Gray

With the CROYDON PIRATES (0-12) coming close to winning their first game of the season last Sunday – falling 5-4 to the BRACKNELL BLAZERS – the visiting RICHMOND FLAMES (7-5) should not be taking two victories for granted in the teams’ double-header this Sunday.

The other double-header, which sees the BLAZERS (7-3) travel to Grovehill Ballpark to take on the HERTS FALCONS (8-6), promises to offer two intriguing contests. With co-leaders LONDON (8-4) resting this weekend, BRACKNELL will become the sole occupiers of top spot with a sweep, but the FALCONS have proven to be difficult opposition to face at their home ground, in Hemel Hempstead.
