The London Mets have won game one of the British National Baseball League final series on Saturday. They beat the Southampton Mustangs 1-0 in a thrilling pitcher’s duel at Farnham Park. Game two and three if needed will be played on Sunday.
A RBI single by Martin Tucker with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh provided the lone run of the afternoon. Starting pitchers Tyson Walker and Spencer Kreisberg had kept both teams to two hits each in the first six frames.
