Carlos Amaro (W 4-0) struck out nine batters in seven innings and the offense of the BRAVOS rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat the ORKAS 6-2 on December 6th. They added two runs one frame late to seal the victory. The ALB brought runs home in the sixth and ninth inning. Robert Vazquez homered for the home team.
Bryon Bell, who was one for two with two walks, and Ricky Thomas, who had doubled, scored the runs for the ORKAS. Daniel Bittar drove in a run with a sac fly. Israel Diaz had three singles in four at bats.
Yulman Ribeiro (L 0-5) still is waiting for his first win of the season, despite a respectable ERA of now 3.22. He allowed three runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings, striking out four. Brian Sewell relieved him and with a runner on base and gave up the homerun, before completing the inning. He put two more runners on a frame later, which scored against Jesus Perez later on. Yorby Marcano also appeared in the game.
